Wow, what an event! This Tough Mudder thing is out of the park! It’s just massive and everything is so much bigger, better and harder than anything I’ve seen before. So I’ve run a few ultra marathons in my time, but this was epic running through rivers, barbed wire, electric fences, over walls… I mean,
Well, I’m sure you can tell from the attached photo, that this was a fun group. They also asked great questions and displayed great insight into each of their own groups knowledge. Thanks to Qantas for having us and, as always, it’s been a pleasure and with better understanding of another needs, we all win
Once a year the Firefighters get together and remember their fallen comrades. Each year the service honours and remembers NYC 911 and the NZ service crew fallen in the line of duty. It’s a very moving time and the event is, although solum, it is beautiful. Everyone there respects the event and the memory.
Helping a friend of mine who works at Health Point, I was asked to talk with a group that meet in Highland Park, community house Pakuranga. This lovely group of eclectic people, meet once a week and discuss options for better living through speakers and group participation. A big thank you to Sheerti and the
As far as charity work goes, helping LBC with the Fired Up Events team as a breeze. Each year I’m invited to help out, and it’s a highlight on my volunteer calendar. Great laughs and big smiles, even after they’ve run up the tower! Ha ha. Big thanks to Scotty, Fired Up Events and all
Not much to say, other than Qantas Jet Connect are taking great steps to help create staff staff within their organisation. I am very grateful and honoured to be part of the process. The leaders and teachers that help these new crew become better are exactly where they need to be.
I was given the opportunity to get up at 5am and go support this wonderful group of hard working New Zealanders. These 940 awesome individuals come together as a collective and raised over $1.2mil this year. That’s a huge achievement that all profits go directly to LBC every year. FireUp events run a smooth ship
The work that all the staff of the Auckland Spinal Unit (Parafed, nurses, physio’s and the TASC office themselves) do an amazing job supporting this people through a very challenging time. Sharing my journey with this group, in this environment is hard, it always is. Going back to where I learned some tough truths about myself
So after being asked to speak again at Challenge Camp, I accepted and again was blow away with the calibre of participants. The camp is run by Rotary they do an amazing job making this program camp work. I love being there, sharing my story, and getting inspired by these guys & gals. Thanks for
Rex Bionics and I were demonstrating at the Integrated Neurological Rehabilitation Foundation open day at their Claude Brooks Drive facility. It was a wonderful morning and having a few cookies always brightens my day. Walking around in Rex and explaining what Rex is able to do, more so than just walking. The new Rex-Excises and other activities
