I had the incredible opportunity to visit Leipzig (Germany) with Rex Bionics when I was asked to help them by walking at the disability event. I was able to present the Rex device to many people and support Debra Leeves (Rex Bionics, Vice Preseident international sales and marketing). It’s hard to put into words how awesome this experience was!! While breifly in the UK, I was also able to see my brother, sister in law, and mum, which made this trip that much better.

Had a great time talking with this very talented group of individuals that Rotary brings together. Able-bodied teens are matched with other teenagers of simialr ages and varying disabilities, this opportunity gives both sides a chance to have experiences outside of what they would normally have. This personal development and interaction of youth who share disabled challenges, are supported by Rotary Internation Youth Exchange Student mentors.
