RYPEN – Rotary International Event

I am very thankful to have been invited along to present to several Challenge Camps over the last few years, and this year I was invited to speak with Rotary group called RYPEN. Honestly, check out what Rotary do for our communities and how they work behind the scenes to impact our future, totally inspiring.

Anyway, I had the opportunity to speak with around 70 teenagers today (thanks to Rotary) at Kokako Lodge, Hunua. What a fantastic group they were! I arrived at dinner time and even though I’m sure they were all very hungry, I was welcomed and invited in like one of their own.

They listened intently and asked some great questions for over 20mins once I had finished! I was very impressed with their maturity, ability to connect to what I presented and take some of it onboard. Honestly, these are some future leaders. Well played for having them on this camp Rotary, well picked. I felt cherished and honoured to be there.

Jet Connect – intake #70 cabin crew

Thank you for having us Lani, after a wonderful welcome and meeting up with another trainer/friend Jo, we started and talking with the team.

The team were really engaged and had a genuine interest in what we were presenting to them. Sandra and myself take pride in our presentations and it’s always a pleasure to have a group thats eager to learn.

They asked a couple of curve ball questions, yet were also very respectful. 18 crew members and they all should be commended on their ability to function as a team.

Well done Jet Connect/Qantas, the training they have received to date has put them in good stead for the future.
