Show Off Day (Auckland Spinal Unit)

This Show Off Day is a fantastic event, put on by TASC, in order to highlight the successes of the disabled community, also showcase new products thats available, and so much more… It really is a day few hours mixing with other likeminded individuals (& supportive companies) to help disabled people int he community just ‘be’ better.

Thank to RexBionics, this year I was there walking around and ‘stepping up my game’ with Tracey & Faisal in the gym. We were able to share with a few wheelchair users the benefits of stand and walking, and why Rex is really needed on a day/weekly basis.

Later this month at ANZSCoS, Gilly Davy from Connect Neuro Physiotherapy will be at the event speaking about Rex-exercise, benefits and why walking is needed to help support spinal injured patients.

Big thanks to Rex for the day and of course TASC for putting on this awesome annual event 😀  I’m so proud to be a member of TASC in supporting Anita to do more of this. I apologise for the dirty looking beard, but it was the start of Mo-vember.
