My First Uber

It’s not ‘my first dolly’ or something like that, no, it’s a lengthy process of me becoming an Uber driver!

I managed to get my P Endorsement, TSL, and CoF for my car. This is a little costly, a little lengthy and frustrating with a bunch of bureaucratic paperwork. Then, in the immoratal words of Cosmo Kramer, “I’m driving the bus”.

It’s funny, when I go out of my way to do things that have never been done before, it’s that I never set out to do that. I never wanted to be the first wheelchair user Uber driver in the country, but that’s how it is.

The goals we find ourselves searching for and striving to achieve, are often the best and most admirable ones. I want anyone I come across to find their own Everest, and to climb their own mountain. I don’t set out to be a go-getter or dream big sort of goals, I just happen to find them, or rather, they find me!

If you want to go for something, do it, start now, and make it happen. Even if it doesn’t happen, you’re still headed in the right direction. You got this.
