I was on the news!! Nothing to do with crime watch or police 10-7… Ha ha.

Whilst I had the opportunity to partake in all the Round the Bays in NZ, Stuff/TV3 heard about me, and next thing I knew, I was on the news! Wow, sometimes I just feel overwhelmed with my life. Possibly even imposter syndrome, as I don’t think I deserve anything, or believe what people say about me. Perhaps that’s normal, and keeps me grounded… who’s to say.

So, now I’ve done Wellington Round the Bays (half marathon), then Auckland Round the Bays (8.4km), and the finale in Christchurch (8.4km). It’s funny, I will be coming first for 2 of the 3 Round the Bays, I laugh, because the only reason I came 1st, is because I’m the only Racechair! I come second at Auckland RtB because there was only 2 male race wheelchairs! I really do want to come 3rd or not even on the podium, because that means there’s more wheelchair racers taking part… maybe next year.
