The Post, Te Upoko O Te Ika – 12th Nov

What an adventure life is. They say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But in all honesty, life/nature never created lemons. Lemons are a man-made fruit! So, I guess you just need to make the most out of everything in life!

With that being said, when I was asked by Grace Stratton (All is for All) to be involved with The Post article, I was honored. Anything I can do to help, support and encourage everyone (disabled and non-disabled) to do more and get better, I’m up for it. I was called up and we had some chats about my Uber and Bolt driving experience. As I’m a T12 paraplegic, this was a great chat, the articles covers some of it, but the pod cast was fantastic.

Honestly, I think I talk too much, and I probably do, however, at least it’s an interesting article… Ha ha. It was about how I managed the expectations of my previous employers, advice to give employers thinking of hiring disabled persons, and some of my observations in the employment mechanism.
