Right Track – Ak Spinal unit

The Right Track program starts with a problem, teaches the participants about the ripple effect, and ends with these young people making better choices.

Another wonderful group, small and more intimate than usual, but still engaging. At first they were quiet, but as they opened up, they shared more about themselves. Listened careful to Lee T’s and my stories, and a couple of the learners asked very smart.

Not that I thought they couldn’t ask clever questions, I always have high standards for these learners, but it was from an unexpected person. I was pleasently surprised, I like good questions, or hard to answer questions. It means they’re listening and thinking, which again tells me the program is working.

I love supporting this fantastic program as it helps the wider community, it helps families, and it helps youth with helping themselves. Thanks to John & Helen Finch, Brendon and Helen, Leah and Rose, Lee T, the fire service, the local police and everyone else involved in supporting these learners and the program 🙂
