Hampton Downs – Classic Trial (ZoomZoom & Kurt)

Kurt was tow-mater again, bringing ZoomZoom to the wonderful track just south of the Bombays, for a little Classic Trial. Thanks to HRC and PPG Classic Trial for having us there and being part of the track colors.

Classic Trial is a perfect way to enter into Motorsport. Sure, you need a car that’s up to standard, clothing, helmet etc, but there’s no pressure to win. You’re in a supportive group of like-minded individuals that want nothing more, than for you to succeed. We’re all there on the track at the same time, but you’ve set your own track lap time, then trying consistently, to get as close to that time every lap, in the 4 or 5 sessions. Great fun, in any old vehicle!

Kurt went really well and nominated a near perfect time. Well done Kurt 🙂 I was just support crew, wiping the windows, silicone on the tyres etc. But it all adds up to a fun day in Motorsport. Yes, Kurt did need to work on the car himself, as I was busy, taking photos.
