Over the last two weeks a number of people have been very supportive of my next demolition derby (Smashfest) in 2013. Currently we need to locate a car and obtain 5 sponsors @ $200 each to make this happen. By enlisted the help of my friends we can make this a Smashfest to remember… The
I had a good shoot and found myself able to shoot well, even with a lot of noise in the background. I delt with the situation and pressed on.
Over both Sat & Sunday the competition was well run (straight after the PNZ training camp). Due to a previous committment I was unable to attend Standing R1 shooting on the Sat, so pushed myself to shoot both Prone and Standing on the Sunday. turns out this was a success for me, proving I can
Great two days of shooting training, mental toughness and ability. We all learned a few more skills to help us deal with destractions, and persevre in different situations. I got lots of little tid-bits that Im sure will help me keep moving forward. Training with a target & pellet beside me, leaves on a river,
I managed to shoot, after all the renovations are mostly completed to the range (thanks Rob B for that) and pulled out a new PB!! 🙂 Not sure how that’ll hold up in the big scheme of the competition, but hey, it def helps.
Was unable to participate in this event due to the organisers unwilling to let a wheelchair enter.
Due to funding issues was unable to make this event. However, I was able to do a little 16km around the Onehunga waterfront (with 1kg weights on my wrists) & even with talking to a family friend for nearly 15min still managed just under 1hour 10min.
After last year breaking my collarbone I decided this year to just help out. It was a privilege to be able to assist these men an women. This year there were 50 volunteers, approximately the same amount of people they had at the first tower climb! Over 500 people climbed the tower this year and

Earlier today I had the pleasure of addressing the group at the Challenge Camp in Eastern Beach. My presentation was on overcoming obsticles and was received by 32 participants of the camp and a number of other Rotary poeple.
