Pack’n’Pedal (40km/100km)

Pack n Pedal run this wonderful course from Albany Kristin School, the one event caters for 40km and a 100km course.

Both years I competed in the 40km section. Starting at Kristin, going up the massive Albany hill, along the hilly Coastville Road, Highway 16 and up the Greenhith Bridge.

First time I achieved a time of 2hours 48min maving never been any further than 21km previously. My second attempt was much better 2 hours 26min.

Subsequently I have been unable to participate due to race officials concerns over wheelchair safety on the course. I was disappointed but accept their decision.
