Well this bring young group of 20 new intakes certainly gave me a run for our money!

Right from the word go, they push the boundaries and had me thinking. In a short space of time since starting this course they have really gelled showing they can work well together. It feels like they really understand what it means to work as a team. This will really help them in their chosen career within the Travel and Tourism industry.

We had some laughs, nearly cried a couple of times and certainly some awkward moments, but this all adds to the excitement of presenting to forward thinking individuals.

Big thanks to AirNZ Aviation Institute for having me and the team themselves for opening up and sharing with me too!

Rotary Challenge Camp 2015 – Vaughan Park

This is my 4rd time presenting to this fantastic bunch of individuals at the Challenge Camp, this year homed at Vaughan Park.

Each year a different Rotary group organisers the event, with a couple of familiar faces. They always run a tight ship, with these young adults really learning every set of the way.

I was again asked to chat to the invited teenagers, sharing with them some of my experiences and stories to help them understand a little more about being yourself, dealing with challenges and making ‘better’ choices. This year showed me an exceptional bunch of bright, lovely individuals.

Thank you for having me at your camp today. Thank you for your attentive ears, wide eyes and intuitive questions.

Drift Day at Hampton Downs – Drift For A Cause

Wow, what an experience. Really if you ever get a chance to thrash the fudge out of someones car on a skid pad (in a safe environment) then DO IT!! Such great fun, the roar of the engine mixed with the centrifugal force of a spinning car… exhilarating.

Spent the whole day just playing in the car and spending some quality time chatting with friends playing with their cars. Beautiful weather and fantastic friends, all the while burning rubber!

A huge thanks goes out to Drift For A Cause team for helping put on a great day at the Hampton Downs track.
